Disappearing chest?

I run a server and I've noticed when I place and build a chest it will disappear in the next 1 hour, but in servers it'snot suppose to until after 14 days.

did you place them in safe zones?
they get deleted now like cars

I had the same issue, built cabinets in a base in a PVE zone disappeared, same as built chests that were all locked

I would like to confirm this is a bug.

I have placed a metal chest with the lock inside of one of the garages in the "Veliki Tabor" village in C1. I have logged out and then logged back in roughly about 3 hours later. My chest has disappeared during that time. Have to point out that both garage doors were locked and my locks were there. Also, I've had there an improvised bed that also stayed untouched.

I play on Outlaw Survival server (EU) which is mostly set for PVE mode, so there is no player lock lock-picking.

I've asked admins and they said they have nothing to do with that. Also they have mentioned that some wardrobes and log sheds also disappear.

Look in the setting for custom zones at the very bottom there is now a setting to allow chest parking!

@devs: If that the case it would be nice that chest despawn time would be shown correctly instead of 33 days.

Hello, this is most likely not a bug. Most likely reason these chests are disappearing because they are in a zone that has chest parking setting set to block, which deletes chests after a specified perdion. Best thing to do would be to contact server admin and have them check if that is the case.

Thanks for this tip, it has been corrected. Wardrobes and Log Sheds are also disappearing. Is this related to the same or some other settings?

Also, would it be possible to change the time on chests to see when they are going to disappear in accordance to the server parking settings? The game allows everyone to create, move and use chests and displays the standard 33days timer, which is super confusing.

The mentioned setting (chest parking) is fixing the chest disappear problem. But there is no clarification about wardrobes and log sheds.
