Please consider removing despawn routine for chests, until its fixed.
Its a game breaking feature that affects all players in every kind of server or playstyle.
One of the bugs that greatly demotivates to play.
p.s. This is the most important part of the game. Look for loot...
But the chests disappear, and cheaters also quickly find them.
I don't even know how else to say that this is very important.
This particularly affects a certain playstyle. On highly competitive servers with low-loot I choose a base location and start filling up crates with building materials before placing a flag. On my server even nails are hard to find so making spare crates is difficult.
What I recommend is when building a crate, note the initial despawn date and put it in the crate name. E.g. "Clothing - 0614". When that date approaches, empty it and see what happens.
Meanwhile I have a crate constructed the same time that remained outside the flag zone and it did not despawn.
So moving crates out of the flag zone does not prevent the bug occurring.
top! thanks!
