Battery chargers

Not sure if bug but every time i leave any of battery charges to recharge, for example car battery, it might say 22 hours to fully charged. i log back in next day, and timer is still 22 hours or even more. Smart phone battery for example, lets say 46min to fully charge, i do something else few hours or so, and again timer is more than same. So not sure what is with that since generator fuels goes down when logged out.

Edit: oh and if i don't log out, those works just fine but i cant and wont be online for 22 hours, not happening :)

Do you play in Singleplayer or in Multiplayer ? Did you have a running generator nearby and switched the Charger on ?

Hey, thanks for the report. This issue only occurs in single-player mode because your client functions as a "server." When you're offline, the "server" is also offline, so to speak. I'll investigate to see if it's possible for us to make the charger charge the battery even when offline in single-player mode, as that would make sense :).

I am pretty sure this also occurs in MP playing on a private server!

I have tested in on MP with all default settings and the battery charged just fine while offline. If there are any cases where that is not true, please do let us know so that we can investigate.

After relogging, restarting the server and creating a backup (gportal) the charging and state of the batterie is fine. But I dropped an item for reference on the floor and after testing it was still not despawned.
Maybe the problem was fixed in one of the hotfixes or it happens after the chunk is deloaded/deactivated. But I don't know how to test this. I also put the filled charger in a closet and after it still worked fine.
I will leave it running and in case it happens again I will come back to you.

Something is wrong here. I relogged after 6 hours and batteries still need to be charged. Also one of them which was fully loaded, now has a to be topped off again for a short while. It seems as soon as nobody is on the server the charger is not functional and the batteries are discharging again! Server Gportal IP:176.57.160.142:28302(Query Port: 28315)

Hey JustPsycho, indeed - issue seems to be that when no one is close to the charger, it does not charge, it has been reported and is being worked on. Thank you :).
