All the gear in my car is GONE! Just vanished.

Hours and hours of collecting. Thousands of coin worth of gear, weapons, clothes, food, tools, fuel, supplies.. ARE JUST GONE. The storage was near full.
I finished playing for the day and shut down the game. Logged back in the next day and my car is completely empty. This has happened twice now, but the last time was after the game crashed. This was different.
I recognize that this game is in development; and I acknowledge the disclaimer on the boot screen, but it still hurts. So I suppose that I need to off load my car before logging out to lessen the heart break. Or just not carry around as much stuff.
Anyone else experience this?

Can't say I've had it since it was fixed. It was a bug several months back but got fixed. Interesting to know if anyone else has had it since.

Had my gear disappear as well after logging out. Played for another few hours ,logged out and the car disappered .

I had an entire wooden crate completely disappear today along with all of my items packed into it. I'm going to stop playing until this is fixed. It's crazy a game at this stage can't be stable enough to stop this from happening.

Could you tell us where this had occurred ? Do you happen to know if car was old or new ? What kind of items were in the inventory ? Any other detail that you might remember could be of great help :).

Here is the first time:

- Single Player
- Location: B4 Outpost/ South Gate
- Red WW that I have had a few weeks now.
- Inventory items? EVERYTHING... weapons, food, gas tanks (with fuel), my tricked-out CARBON HUNTER, water, building supplies, various tool boxes, several hiking backpacks with weapons and gear to sell, everything except construction like concrete, bricks, wood, and timber.
- I had dropped off the first load of trading items. I logged off for the night. When I logged back in the day, everything was gone.

Second time.

- Single Player
- Location: B2 east-side - My base near the lake
- Red WW that I have had a few weeks now.
- Similar inventory as the other, just no tricked-out Carbon Hunter.
- I had been at the base for the while. The car was parked. I was working in the garden mostly. I logged off for the night. When I logged back in the next day; everything was gone.

We are unable to reproduce this bug consistently as it occurs very rarely, making it challenging to pinpoint the exact issue. Currently, our suspicion is that the problem may be happening with old cars – cars that were spawned before the update intended to fix the car inventory issue. Some updates are not applied retroactively to existing items/vehicles, meaning that only new items/vehicles receive the updates.

To verify this, could anyone confirm if they have encountered this issue with a new car spawned after the update?
Identifying old and new cars might be tricky, but if you have spawned a car since the update, it should be considered a new car and should have received all updates.

Additionally, what could help us to refute another theory. If you have been using the same car for an extended period, please take note of the ContainerID of that car (you can ctrl over the item for it to appear). Then, check if the ContainerID has changed since the items disappeared.

Hasn't happened in a car yet, but I just had four crates disappear. Moved the crates into a new building we built not even 10 feet away. Turned to clean up things outside, then walked back in to see crates missing. I placed them against the wall and in a grid, so I could tell the crates were missing. The crates missing all weren't made at the same time, so it isn't the two week disappearing bug. One was a metal crate with clothing, and three were wooden crates, one with medicine, one with arrows and rockets, and one with various crafting materials. It did happen after I demolished the foundations there were on before they were moved though so.......... maybe it was that? The other crates that didn't disappear were also in the same room that was demolished so, kind of hard to pinpoint what it would be.

Dont know if the bug still existst after the 0.9 wipe, maybe its history now.

I had this bug only happen once shortly before 0.9 patch. It was a very old car in singleplayer aquired as world spawn shortly after the last wipe before 0.9.
There were no chests in the car but bagpacks with stuff. I had a grill resting in the car for ages but took it out and placed it on the ground before driving to the outpost. When i arrived at the outpost i couldnt interact with the vehicle inventory the vehicle didnt show up in the vicinity tab but i could still enter and drive it, so i tried relocating it but to no avail. After relogging i could interact with the vehicle inventory again but the inventory was completely empty.

Hello, I to have had a loss of NEW Laika and all the gear I had collected yesterday in single player mode in the Town west of the main airfield in B sectors near the store with the ATM. I got out to deposit cash into the ATM and loot the few stores and homes around and when I went to log off for a quick break the car was there. Came back it was gone and all the loot in my inventory was back to when I first started the day near the Airport. I rebooted and still nothing so I gave up and tried to play it from where I left off today only to find the game had another small patch/update since yesterday and all settings for my single player server had defaulted. I did not have a single cooking stove or Grill in the Vehicle.

I bet the inventory crashed for the game is a new one is created. I did notice that can car does not appear in the vicinity when the bug happens, but you can drive the car

Only your loot disappears? Lucky... Every time i log off of singleplayer my whole car vanishes. This game is so broken.
