Admin Commands Not working

Trying to do some building on my server, set the admin permissions in the ini file...NO there are no additional spaces in it, set the steam64 ID, tried with and without [godmode] at the end, no change.

Anyone else having issues?

In what ini file did you put your ID exactly and just to clarify, your entry is xxxxyyyyzzzzaaaa[godmode] ?

AdminUsers.ini

And yeah, no spaces, no nothing server has been restarted multiple times doesnt work keeps kicking the same "player must be administrator" even when i try to toggle godmode to true

Aren't there two files where you have to put your steam ID +[godmode] in?
Can't name them exactly but there's two admin files.

found a ServerSettingsAdminUser.ini put it in there too both with and without [godmode] no change

Do other commands like #Spawnitem xyz work or does it affect all commands?

Nothing works :) I just grabbed some item ID's are known to be in the game and tried spawning them, same error

Besides that one, isn't there also a AdminUsers.ini??
All Server Provider sites refer to this one. And it's even in my local WindowsNoEditor folder.

I think that's the one you need to put the line in.

Yes, that was the first one i tried editing up in the second post there. Have tried nothing in one, same setting in both no change. Same performance across the board, near as I can figure the host is not looking at the file correctly or its appending spaces somewhere along the way

That´s weird. I saw several posts from people having trouble to use godmode on their own servers shortly after the changes, but all managed to fix it eventually by adding their ID followed by [godmode] (without any spaces) to both of these .ini files...

Maybe contact the support of your provider?

On what Server Provider are you and did you tried to contact the support of them ? Maybe something is not set correctly.

Nitrado, I have had good service with them prior. Spoke with them, they're confused as well because everything is set correctly they are escalating it to their engineers

I can't see any error on the server, the entered content was saved. However, I do not know what the [Godmode] after the ID means, where did you get this information that works?

I have removed and saved this, please check if the admin permissions work now.


Will update further as they investigate, sent them evidence from the server it is not in fact working as was originally stated in the ticket.
