Can’t install parts to vehicle

I have try to install doors and seats onto car, but I’m not able too. The install option shows( the words are white not grey ), but when click nothing happens. Took car to near by post and was able to jack it up at the mechanics shop. I’ve read the new update and it said that I should be able to install doors, hoods, seats etc immediately. The only thing I should need a jack and or to take it to mechanic shop is to install wheels or engine.

same problem here, spawned a car jack and wheel to repair a car and i cant instal it even if the option is in white. also i cant remove any part that i should be able too as per update info

For any car modifications, you will need a car repair kit and medium enginering. About the car_jack you need to hold it in hand when placing it on a car

I had the same issue. The car jack raised the car up, but still wouldn't allow for modifications. And I had a car_repair kit; I tried it in inventory and in hand. Had a friend try it, and it wasn't working for him either. Tried relogging, restarting game, verifying the integrity of the files, and no luck. It shows the text as greyed out when attempting to remove, and white when attempting to install, but when you click on it, nothing happens, or it shows a loading bar with grey slashes.

had the same trouble, had a repair kit in my backpack and didnt work, then putted it on the ground next to the car while having the new wheel in hand and nothing

When you place the car in service mode with the car_jack you need to hold the wheel in hands and place it on the side where the car_jack is instaled

So had this issue. My guess is reason why I could not install tire from one car to another was due to the fact it is not the same style of car and not the same style of tire. If that isnt the case then there is an issue. I have mechanic to medium, had two car repair kits on me, and had jack up on the correct side. Car only has two tires on right side, so i had left side lifted in order to put two tires that took me 4 hours to lug back two different times >_< and to go back to get jack.

Two Wheels I pulled off another car: 215 65 R16

Car i want to drive has two tires: 205 55 R16

I was afraid to pull tires off the one I want and the game say I cant reinstall after thinking the struggle I was having was some bug. But once I pulled my tire off it allowed me the option to put it back on. So my guess is tires have to be exact, even if cars look almost freakin identical.
