Character Frozen in Place After Cutting Log

This bug started happening after the last update and is still going on after the hotfix patch. Anytime I cut 1 log then go to grab another, my character stands in place and I can't do anything at all. The only way to fix this is to either log out to menu and back in or for someone to hit me. If I try to do it again afterwards, same thing. So basically,

1) Pick up log
2) Cut log into planks
3) Go to pick up next log
4) Character is now frozen

Makes it super annoying when I'm trying to make a base and add more walls. There's also the car disappearing glitch going on (assuming across all servers), not sure if it was fixed in the middle of last night, but yeah.

Not sure if anybody else is having this issue, but let me know and if y'all have found a better way to fix it besides getting hit or logging out.

I feel your pain. Only way I can remedy it is a relog, no pun intended. It seems to happen if a branch or plank clips another item nearby, then when I go to bundle it or place in blueprint causes the issue you mentioned.

I have this issue also when i am in the inventory screen and i am doing things by right clicking objects and doing the activities, i.e. cut log into planks. Character will freeze, and sometimes i will be able to move but will not be able to interact with anything, including pulling out my weapon to defend myself.

Have you tried verifying the game files to see if there might be a problem here?

It can also help to remove the "Saved" folder because if there are outdated entries here, this can lead to problems. All you have to do is go to the Appdata>Local>SCUM> folder.

But remember to save the SCUM.db in Appdata>Local>SCUM>Saved>SavedFiles for the single player beforehand so that you don't lose your characters. Multiplayer is saved on the server side.

When everything is backed up, delete the Saved folder and start the game so that it can be recreated with the latest version.

here too, same problm... only way i found to solved the problem is chainsaw, axe or normal saw freeze the game. gtx1660s i5 10º 16gb ram win10 x64

I constantly either freeze or cant interact with the world when im crafting, it happens when exploring too. Only recently with the newest patch

Is there a command to cancel a action we stuck in every 30 seconds? (I guess the character stucks in crafting animation and is locked during this time endless)

Also having this issue never had this before played scum about 8months ago up untill 600 hours and now first day in also having this issue when I build and get stuck constantly its super annoying and nothing works i have to log out and in after every log I cut

Having the same issue. I have verified the files, deleted the saved info in appdata. Same issue after chopping a tree down, I freeze, cannot move, or take any action,sounds around me are still present, puppets move about freely, just my character is frozen, after chopping tree, Tree branch, or making planks....has anyone had a permanent fix yet. 0445 hrs EST Monday June 6th.

hi I installed the newest nvidia patch, since then i couldnt reproduce the behaviour.. yesterday i had it almost every log, and I tried to not overlap the parts- now i wanted to record the issue, and had the floor full of sticks and planks and logs and I couldnt reproduce it ... try to upgrade your graficcard driver
