also some other equipment like flashlight and even silences/mags will fit on other guns just like scopes.

Realitywise, it just does not fit. So I would say not intentional.
M9 tactical light I can agree with, Block 21 just has similar mount for the attachment.

They're skipping a step in-game that allows the use of the same suppressor on both guns, but it is doable. And the devs have said it's use on both was intentional.

I'm not going to take the time to look it up for you. Just trust us, we have been playing the game a long time and following the development closely.
The AK15 suppressor fits the Ak47, AKM, and the AK74u
The MP5 could use the same suppressor as the M9 but it doesn't
AND the SVD suppressor doesn't fit the M1891 (Mosin)

THIS IS ALL INTENTIONAL. Most for efficiency and balance purposes as I understand it.

Trust me I'm a gun guy and I don't like the water bottle suppressors AT ALL, but it's part of the arcade styling.

Reality wise they do in fact make a suppressor that fits both....
