Randomly exploded for no apparent reason.

Not sure why this happened. I thought maybe it was something to do with the mine I picked up, Went back to check and no just a random explosion.

please tell me what is going on here too? i have had this happen to me before at the military training yard too in single player, i was entering the garage there at the time. figured the dev's just had mines spawn in bunkers and other POI that blew up when you got near them.

things like this are generally why i don't really play the game anymore unfortunately. even in single player, you die for no reason all the time or by one hit kills(jihad zombies), then this is all compounded by the fact the death mechanics make it even more difficult de-spawning your body to fast making you lose everything you had and worked for, for no reason at all really. i know its Early Access but its just to messy of a game to play with right now, hopefully it gets better with new updates.

If you pause at about 6 seconds it looks like there's a mine on the floor right by your right foot. The mine you picked up was in the wall locker. It looks like someone left a mine there and you just managed to miss it until you tried to leave.

It's just a brief glimpse, and I had to pause the video and go frame by frame, but that's what it looks like.

but that doesn't explain why i blew up for no reason in SP? there are no other player to plant any bombs?

@marktkm I dont see a mine. I see a stain on the cardboard and a jacket on the ground. Also wouldnt the mine have blown me up when I walked in or moved around looting the room instead of on the way out? If a player had placed it the bot would have said who killed me.

Also no way the bunker had been touched as the server reset right as I went into it. So im in maybe 2- minutes, reset, then 3-5 to fill up and leave. C3 bunker is small. Almost no way someone snuck in without me hearing the doors and placed a mine in the 3-5 minutes I was down there after the restart.

But yeah there's a plethora of reasons I know it wasn't a player or a mine.

Sorry for the late reply guys, this does look really weird ,I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary either. Did you perhaps logout in this room and log back in, and someone placed a mine while you were away? I can only think of that.

EDIT: I just looked at the videos again, and at 0:15 where you move the mine to your inventory, the mine is still on the floor in the bottom right corner. Forwarded this to some colleagues to be looked at.

Yeah cause in the second video when I come back the mines still in my inventory. Also I couldn't have picked it up if it was armed.

This issue is still present because my friend and I today randomly blew up and we are playing on a pve/somewhat pvp server that isn’t very populated. Our base is hidden well in the woods and we’ve both blown up just randomly walking around. I noticed earlier when I was playing that I saw a random missile or something come out of the sky and blow up in front of me and then later I blew up when I was walking towards a tree.

Did you piss off an admin maybe they dropped a suicide zombie on you-they don't pop until they hit the ground!
Many people put landmines near other bases the kill gives them fame!

Random missile fall from the sky=hand grenade? I have thrown them over walls and killed players in their base!

Does the server that you play on have a teleport bot. There are ways to get over walls and survive the drop then place mines inside and teleport out by bot!

Just my 2 cents in thoughts!

Honestly I have no idea. We have never encountered anyone nor have seen anyone type in chat. And when I check the server it was just my friend and I. So there's no way we could have pissed an admin off. It is possible someone found our base and hid a landmine somewhere but we are pretty well hidden. I also don't think they have teleport bots. The funny thing is that our walls aren't even finished so our base is still pretty exposed to anyone who wants to mess with it. But I've only died in front of our finished walls. I've seen the drones that record you blow up spinning in the air and crash so I'm also considering a drone just suicide bombed me but idk it happened so fast to the both of us.

You could have maybe glitched dupe by mistake the mine. I have a good idea how it works and looked like that could have been it. I could be wrong too but that's the only explanation I can think of unless another player really did come there and planted an active mine.

You only have died in front of your finished walls. Was there an explosion or did you just die! A death without an explosion can be a unnoticed injury and slow bleed out preceeded by the graying out of your screen. It also could be you wearing too much and getting overheated and dropping due to hyperthermia. Sorry I can't watch your vids!
