easy anti-cheat manual install error: 1072

trying to manually install easy anti cheat but getting this error:

easy anti-cheat service setup error: createService failed with 1072

Problem where trying to manually install EAC but getting Error code: Error: CreateService failed with 1072.

Create an exclusion in avast or whatever anti-vrius software you have. (Even when avast is disabled it still blocked the process)

exclusion for following folders:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SCUM\EasyAntiCheat\

C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat\

having this problem my self but this doesn't help as I do not use Avast.

If you're using any kind of antivirus software ( even windows defender ), make sure that it's not blocking the EAC.
