fortification - cant board up this window

( dont know if this has been report or not.. )

I was surpsied when i checked the doors on this little house at the naval base
right on the port near all that loot lol..

so i claimed all the doors, locked them all ok
then started getting windows fortified, 1 of the windows cant be boarded up at all
the blueprint doesnt clip onto it, just stays red

since all other windows can be fortified.. im guessing this was just missed?

the window itself doesnt work like the others
as shown in the next pic it has an open part on it.. normally you can jump through these
i tried the other windows, each one with a window open i jumped through no problem

but this 1, same window you cant fortifiy, you also cant jump through

so loot is safe enough i guess, it should be acting like the others tho?

Try verifying your game files, Something might have been awry when this happened to you.

ok thx for the reply flapjack

after seeing what you said and vid i went back to try again
this time turned game off, verified files then back on to try again
still the same.. cant jump through or fortifity

works for you tho, ill see if i can get som1 else on server to do it for me
no idea why i cant..

Check it in single player as well, it could be some sync issues on the server where it doesn't render the fortification that someone might've placed.

I kinda ruled out it being a server issue since its restarted each day

I never even thought to check it out in single player
yes works 100% as it should in single

so its already fortified? just cant see it
iv had 2 other friends come to try and fortify it or jump through, both are same as me
I basically gave up on the matter, if no1 can jump through i dont care too much
just have to avoid the mech at that window

bit weird that no1 can see it.. lol

a full wipe is planned for the future.. ( from reading other posts )
that should fix this issue im guessing
