carried weapon vanishing and reappearing

unfortunately this occurs sometimes but not everytime and therefore is not 100% reproduceable.

If you carry 3 rifles, 2 on your back and 1 in hands. And you start some Action like pooping/peeing of climbing a ladder. Sometimes afterwards your 3rd weapon is not visible neither in your hand nor on the ground. When you switch to one of the weapons holstered on your back the missing gun will appear in the weapon slot, while you are now holding the previously holstered weapon.

As said this occurs sporadically and is not 100% reproduceable, but happens frequently while playing.

most of the time i was carrying the TEC01 490 shotgun as a thrid weapon, but i dont think it is linked to a specific gun/item.

Bow continues to disappear when dropped

As the title suggests - my bow continues to disappear when dropped (only when I do something like eat / drink / switch weapons) - this has happened to me twice today and several times since I started playing. I don't see it happen with any other weapons, though.

*Edit: Just logged back in and bow is gone again. Not sure what caused it this time... really becoming frustrating at this point.

Hello Beezil, thank you for the report! Can you perhaps tell me which bow you were using? Just so we can rule out the possibility of being a specific bow issue.

All players have had to remember you have something in your hands.
Just part of the game. You have to free your hands to do something.
You then need to pick back up what you dropped to free your hands...just as in RL.

Also, did you have the Bow in your hands and the other 2 back slots filled?
In other words, are you carrying around 3 weapons with only 2 storage slots?

Hmm, So I've tried every type of bow/eating combination and nothing happens for me. It could possibly be that if your slot's are full and you go to use an item, that you will drop what is in your hand's to "drink" but forget to pick it back up? I constantly see players at the airfield running back to pickup a rifle left behind after bandaging.

If not, does it happen in a specific spot on the map for you? in a building, ect..

yeah normally when you do something while holding something in hands, you just drop it to the ground and pick it up again afterwards.
But here the item is not shown on the ground, nor anywhere else.
But as soon as you change to one of your holstered weapons (1 or 2) and back, it magically appears back in your hands.

It hasn't been with a specific bow, but the compound bow and recurve types are usually the ones I lose. It's when my slots are full and I go to drink / eat or whatever - the bow drops automatically and this is when it seems to disappear entirely. I have indeed forgotten to pick it back up but this is not what I'm talking about. It will just straight up be gone. And the other day with my new compound bow, I logged in to find it was missing, so not sure how that happened. Lol

The last 2 times it happened was with the compound and recurve bow (80# I think)

As far as the area I'm in, I don't think it's a specific place. I tend to be outside when I use it.

I noted something similar but not limited to bows.
But for me the item in hands appears again when you switch to one of your holstered weapons (press 1 or 2) and press the same number again. Then your weapon is holstered again, and your item/weapon is back in your hand.
if this is the case maybe somebody can merge these threads
