Crafted items disappear

Sometimes when im crafting an item, i.e. a metal shovel, the item will not spawn when the crafting finishes

Did you happen to notice a "action failed" message when attempting the crafting and the item never appeared?

No I did not, is that a mechanic?
My survival skill is maxed if that has any effect

Well, I've noticed it on certain occasions, and my skill was more than sufficient to craft the item. I didn't look however to see if it used up crafting mats in the process. Just thinking of other things that could have been the result ending up in no item.

So far both of the items mentioned appeared fine for me on the ground. Does this happen everytime you craft the item, or did it happen just once? If it happened just once, do you perhaps remember the location where you were crafting it?

Happened south of the airport and then north of the mil base in B3 in the upper left quadrant. Maybe it was an issue with the server?

same ♥♥♥♥ just hapned to me crafted bundle of bpbby pins and 20 bobby pins gone in my base
