Add music to music folder

How do you add music to the music player. Bought the support pack for the sole purpose of having custom music. Converted the songs to .wav, added them to the music folder but in game it still says the music folder is empty... How do you add music? Every video says, convert to .wav -> add them in this folder "sream>steamapps>common>scum>scum>music. Am I missing something???

Did you convert the music using a tool or just changed the ending to .wav?

Maybe you can try with another convertion Tool and also you can try out to convert to .flac format if this is maybe working better. I will try later to see if there is something maybe not working.

used a different app and it is working now, thanks. Asked on youtube and sicord and everyone ignored me. Also tried to convert to .flac but they kept failing

I had something similar with convertion tools. Not all of them do convert but just rename the file. While it works in some cases its not a convertion at all, hence the advice for another tool. The .flac worked on my end aswell as the .wav files.

"goldwave" should be able to convert all the formats correctly but you may need to pay for it
depening on their current shareware version policy

Found the issue. Can't use a full album, not sure why but like a hour long song doesn't work. I usually listen to those epic war music or epic orchestra music and most of them are 1 hour plus sound tracks.

Thank you for the Information! Indeed, too large files can cause it to not work proper. I am sorry i forgot to remember that and thank you for the reminder! :)

No, but if you put in too large files they may not work. Also you should not get above 1GB in total. My current SCUM playlist is with around 48-52 Tracks below 1GB (I think im at 500+mb)

I don't think it's just the size, have a song that's 4:25 and it cuts off at 4min
