Easy anti cheat problem

When I start game this error show up:
SCUM.exe Error - 0xc0000142
Easy anti-cheat - Untrusted system file (C:\Windows\System32\wininet.dll

What should i do, pls halp

Try reinstalling your easy anti cheat service from the game folder, after that verify your game files on steam.

This doesn't work, reinstall SCUM/EAC also. We want to drive SUV and make mayhem on Island!

Updating windows to the latest version solved the problem for me.

Please avoid necroposting. Also say what exactly you did please. Usually reinstall/repair of EAC from game folder fixing this kind of errors.
