pakchunk files keep crashing deleted + verify is useless

Okay. Yes, you can delete All paks and verify game files after to get them new. Please keep uns informed if it helped or if it still is occouring.
It may also be that the Download region does not work (This is a Suggestion From Steam Support) and you can try to change the download region if the first did not work proper.

please dont push the issue .. im already do the test on system , ram they are everthing in good condition ... this pakchunk issue come out when the last 2 game

I deleted all the paks and verified, for some reason this motivated Steam to redownload the entire game.

Anyway, it seems to have worked. Haven't had a crash in 10min or so.

I was wrong, just crashed again. Might have lost my dude this time.

Error logs say the same thing about the pak files, even though they were just redownloaded.
I haven't had a crash in Scum until after this patch. I don't know what to do now.

Can you please upload the "Logs" folder located in Appdata>Local>SCUM>Saved> and share the link here ? This way the developers can take a look directly.

Alternatively you also can upoad the Entire "Saved" folder in the same directory.

It's getting weirder.

I can play singleplayer just fine, I can also play on a different server. But my main, 'SCUM Server Official #1 - Europe Solo', won't even let me connect any longer.
I got the error message "You are not authorized to perform the requested operation!".
Minutes later I could log in no problem. Been playing like 45min without crashes.

i have the same problem... today was the first time after the last update i started the game. i get different pakchunk - windowsnoeditor.pak errors which then closes the game.

i already verified game files about 9999 times, reinstalled the game, deleted savedgames, deleted eac folder. even wiped my whole "drive d". sometimes i can then play about 10-20 minutes and then i get the error again.

i guess the last update ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the game for some ppl

To fix the problem, the corrupted .pak files must be deleted manually and then replaced by a file verification.

It may be necessary to change the download region to see whether it might be due to the connection. (The connection between PC and download server.)

The download region can be changed in the Steam settings.
