Scum constantly crashing drivers
On both the Radeon 7600 and the 7900 XTX AMD drivers are being crashed, and it's a Scum related issue and D3D device errors. Game will be running fine then bam, hangs.

CPU's are 5600X and a 7800X3D

There are no hardware problems, issues or faults in either of my systems and the problem is only persistant on Scum. When I used to play back 6 months I would never get these issues, granted I didn't have the better system then but now, it's happening and on both.

It would be faster to contact AMD.

Hello :),

Can you please share your complete System Specifications once please ? Also what is the exact error message you receive ?

Hey there OP, did you try reinstalling the GPU drivers?

To no avail. This is happening only on my AMD cards, both the amd machines are running a 5600x and a 7800x3d and their gpu's are a amd 7600 and a 7900 xtx. Both are more than capable of running the game at medium and ultra settings respectively, have no hardware issues at all (yes I have been working in IT for too long to remember) and it seems to be an issue with your api/amd drivers not being properly compatible. My nvidia setup is just fine and does not have any driver related crashes. Someone earlier suggested "contacting AMD" but that won't get you anywhere, as it wouldn't with nvidia. They don't do "contact us and we will help" solutions, especially when it's only one game in question. They will, if they respond, send me here, to you guys.

To be honest I'm unsure of what exactly we are able to do here if the issue is happening only on a certain configuration and with certain GPUs, some Intel GPUs are having issues similar issues and it's nothing that we can do on our side to fix the issue.

Just to clarify, it's only happening on my AMD gpu's. threw them in a intel rig and still the same errors after some time. Seems nvidia gpu's are immune to these crashes, at least the ones I and others are getting.

Yes and from what you said it's only a certain model.

Are you encoding (recording a video, stream or replay) or decoding (youtube, netflix, etc.) in HW at the same time ?

There used to be a drive bug in Adrenaline when you tax the GPU enough the driver times out.

Nah... Happens even with nothing but the os and application using the gpu. Sadly this game doesn't behave well with amd/intel gpu's.

today I received an error after a long time, but it is quite exceptional. 7900 XTX gigabytes
