Do any of you use VPN or other additional Security measures ?
Before asked, the game has been uninstalled and reinstalled onto this D:\ drive before to see if that was the issue and it didn't. This time he put it on his primary drive and it worked.
Like I said, not sure why this worked and since it is working after a couple of months have gone by, he is not touching it as long as it is working.
Also, no, he didn't use a VPN, but he was running Avast stuff, but since then has removed it.
Is there a possability that his D: is a HDD and his C: a SSD ?
Yes, I just asked him.
I have mine on a HDD and works just fine. Did a check and the HDD were fine.
I play myself on a older HDD-Sata-6 drive but maintain it weekly including a maintainance of the registry which also can help a lot.
Installing the game on your c drive should fix this
