VCRUNTIME140_1.dll not found. how do i fix this?

This DLL belongs to Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package 2017.
VCRedist is inclusive since 2015 onwards so install latest vcredist (2022), both x86 and x64 (links directly from Microsoft):

Or alternatively from:

if you already have these installed, update and reboot your OS.

VCRUNTIME140_1.dll couldnt find?

When ı tried to run scum from steam, ı encounter an error written ' Code loading doesn't continue because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll hasn't been found. Reinstall the program may solve this problem'
I reinstall the game and thismessage appeared when I tried to run scum on steam...
İs this a common problem or a kind of technical problem about my computer...

True, but for some reason this is popping up for a lot of people lately so I can just copy/paste from another thread...(yes, I'm lazy like that XD)

OP, that file is referring to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. You can download and install the latest version of that and it should help. You can find the file here:

It's happening since last patch, likely due to engine modification, or maybe Windows Update as usual forgot or removed redistributable packages.
