Your ping is too high to enjoy this server!!!

I've played close to 200hrs on the "SCUM Server Official #1 South Africa" server and after the latest update all of a sudden SCUM tells me that my "ping is too high to enjoy the server" I've been playing on since the very beginning and I keep getting connection time outs, WTF!!!

All my friends live in South Africa, I don't. Why cant I make the choice and why am I being told that the ping is too high for my enjoyment?

Can the Dev's please fix this!!!

I purchased and play SCUM to connect with my friends! NOT to join a server close to where I live!

This is really lame bunny. I spent over 100 dollars on this game (gifting it to all our friends). Half of us can't even play the multiplayer because all the servers say we have to high a ping. You guys need to resolve this

This thread is rather old. Since the last post they've created some servers with no ping limit. You'll have to search to find the exact names and IP addresses.

Same. This is crazy! NONE of the servers I’ve played on let me on, OR they let me in and randomly drop me and say ping is too high. So much for having premium super fast internet I suppose. I’ll Ty DayZ reformer I guess.

Yep, 2 years later and same issue, I'll quit holding my breath that this game is a dayz killer.

what an absolute joke. can't even join on private servers due to a ping lock... nothing server owners can do about it either. literally 5 miles away from where our server is hosted and getting a 392 ping.

so much for supporting this bs since 2018, this is my LAST night playing SCUM.
