Right click the game on the list > Properties > DLC
If it's already marked, un-tick it and then mark it again.
You can also try deleting the old Saved folder located in :
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\SCUM
Make sure to backup your old singleplayer save files if you wish to keep them before deleting that folder. They should be located in the subfolder named " SaveFiles ".
After deleting the Saved folder, verify your game files on Steam.
Let us know if this helped you or if the issue still remains. Cheers !
The "saved" folder I cannot find. There is not one under my user name. Would it be under Steam or SCUM? I'm not the most tech savvy person, but that should be pretty easy to find and it is not. There is almost nothing under my user name. I checked all 4 on my PC. Any other ideas?
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SCUM
AppData is hidden by default, so you'll need to put a check in the box next to 'Hidden items' under the view tab of the file explorer window.
If you're in single player and want to keep your progress there you can copy the 'SaveFiles' folder inside it to another location and move that back after it's recreated.
Deleting the folder will also delete the list of public servers you have played on in the server browser (if any), so make a note of their names before deleting if you have some you like. You can search them out once you're back in.
I don't use the radio or personal music, so I don't have a lot of ideas there. Here's the link to the patch notes on it:
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/513710/view/3058486065116713477
One thing I have seen is that people get confused on what folder to put the music in. Apparently there are 2 similar ones. Double check that the folder they are in is correct.
As far as the blue BCU, I've seen people report the same issue recently, but I've never had it. It will definitely turn red if you have negative fame. If that's not the case then I'm at a loss.
The prison pocket has been giving fewer 'gifts' lately, but I've still gotten them. I've heard people say that it regularly gives something either the first or second time after you respawn, but I haven't been able to confirm that. I'm usually not paying that much attention. For me they're kind of random.
Lol, nothing is ever easy is it? I'm not so worried about the color of the BCU. I think that's primarily for people that want to show they spent money or want someone to pat them on the back for supporting the devs. I don't need to be congratulated.
I don' really care about the prison pocket. Whatever comes out probably isn't going to really help.
Giving money to the devs and music is why I bought the supporter pack. I have tried putting the music in both music folders and it still doesn't work. I read the patch notes (thanks). They didn't guide me to a solution. Do you know the proper folder? I tried steamapps\common\scum\music and steamapps\common\scum\scum\music. I did read that it should be the later. And since this is not your area of expertise, is there someone you would recommend for trouble shooting? I really appreciate all of your help! It's been very kind of you to try to work with a non-tech savvy soul.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamappscommon\SCUM\SCUM\Music
I dropped a song into mine and started up a single player character, and it worked. Here's how I started it playing. There's the key binds also. If it starts playing the regular music try hitting ALT-J to switch between them.

(I cut it off to avoid any copyright issues. I think AC/DC would have a sense of humor about a video with my character dancing to Shoot to Thrill on a truck hood in a game called Scum, but their label and Youtube...questionable.)
If the walkman is showing up in the radial menu (you can also check that the option for "Music Player Display" in the escape key menu under 'Game' is there and not greyed out) I'd think it's just an issue of turning it on and changing it to the right channel.
As for additional help, any of the devs, like Bunny above, would be good. You can send them direct messages on the Scum discord. Keep in mind it may take some time to get a response.

And you're welcome!
I used a .wav file. Is that what the song you have in your folder is? Or is it a .flac?
From the radial menu, when you click the player, then the on button, what happens? Does it at least play the in-game song tracks? And if it does, what happens if you hit ALT-J?
When I use the radial menu, the music plays. When I switch to my music it is just silent. I've tried playing with the other features in there, like skipping songs, but nothing seem to work. I wish I could fix it. lol. It's the only feature I wanted in the support pack. No matter, I love the game and feel good about giving the devs the extra money.
The only other thing I can think of that I might try myself would be uninstalling the game, searching for 'scum' on the drive it was installed on (if it was installed to something other than C search C as well) and delete any leftovers, then try a reinstall. It helped me when I had a connection issue after last patch and 'nothing' else worked.
Hopefully a dev can help if nothing else.
