Mic not working in Single Player

My mic stopped working after either the previous or the second to last update, I use Shadowplay to record Gameplay and usually talk over the videos as I play but for some reason my mic has stopped being detected or being able to be used in-game, works fine in windows and I can record my voice through the mic and voice recorder no issues in windows but cannot use it in SP Scum at all.

Tried multiple things to resolve the issue, have turned PTT on and off with no difference, have changed the key from B to something else with no difference.

Deleted the Saved folder in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\SCUM and then restarted a new game with no change.

Have pressed windows keys whilst in-game and then gone to start, settings, system, sound, "app volume device preferences" and and selected the appropriate speakers and mic from its "default" setting for SCUM itself and rebooted PC and tried it again but with no change,

have removed my mic and headphones from my PC and then re-enabled it with no change.

Using Headphones, They are Razer Tiamet 7:1 headphones with USB (tried different USB ports but with no change, have changed 7:1 to Stereo with no change,

Have updated sound drivers with no change,

Disabled all other sound and mic devices with no change,

Running out of things to try tbh.

Any ideas ?

Can you check in Shadowplay options if there's proper mic input selected as well as volume?

Yes that solved it thanks. I actually checked the settings before seeing your reply and noticed the key had been changed, changing it back solved it.
