EasyAntiCheat error: Failed to Create IgameClient Instance

A friend is kicking the game after 1 min (or less) on any server.

Error: EasyAntiCheat error: Failed to Create IgameClient Instance check that the game was run from the correct launcher. Online play may not be available


We've tried:

Verify files on Steam; reinstall the game; reinstall EAC; run SCUM as administrator; delete cache in Localappdata

Any solution yet? Having the same issue and I cant find ♥♥♥♥ on this subject.

What antivirus program do you guys have? Maybe its blocking EAC work after some update.

Nothing, just windows' anti virus software for me. I tried re downloading the game for the second time and purging EasyAntiCheat from my computer so its all fresh once it downloaded again but I'm still receiving the same error or not receiving the error at all but still getting kicked from servers due to EasyAntiCheat

Have you tried to go through these: https://errorcodespro.com/error-code-20006/ just to make sure?

There seems to be a rare issue with the EAC installer messing with Windows' bowels.

You could have included those steps in your original post, then. ;)

You should probably contact EAC support since I'm not sure how much insight SCUM devs have into EAC mechanisms.

These errors obviously seem to happen to several games, though.
