Low end pc problem( towns)

Minimum requirements are already met but the game is literally unplayable in atleast the lowest settings specially in towns or any other sort of buildings around. I understand that the game is still on early access but can you please suggest anything that actually works with fps(in towns).
PS ive already tried different tutorials but nothing works and the graphics are already at its lowest. Tia

change the server , mine lagged af at one server and worked smooth at the same place on a different server

Test by playing in single player mode. No lag will mean the servers are at fault.

I know computers aren't cheap. But it sounds like it is time for you to save for a new one. For pc games are requiring more and more resouces and holding onto a 10 year old computer doesn't help.

I play on high settings with maxed view distance and my system is just a little under recommended spec. I’m getting 70-90 fps depending on if it’s a full server or not. Look change your render resolution down until you get the performance you desire

i'm souch a noob and i have a question. My specs: amd r7 260x 2gb graphic card....cpu is Fx-8320 Black edition...ram 8 gb i realize my pc isnt suitable but i cant understand something. Scum runs on low at 40 fps but it is constantly droping to 3 when i'm arround buildings. For comparison Bf5 runs on low but constant 50 fps no droping... what is the deal here.....it it just my pc or is Scum not optimised that good yet? thanks for any replies :)

same here.scum runs on low at 70-80 fps in the wood and drop to 10 fps in the city,unplayable...but i can play dayz at 60 fps and fallout 4 at 70 fps

except i only did the step 1,4, and 5. then on step 5 I put clean every 6 mins and clean when above 75%.
Watch the video and you'll understand.
I had 8gb RAM, intel pentium 3.50Ghz, gtx 1050 4gb.
I just did a custom settings with what works for me.
