Offline Raid Protection is turned ON so 30 minutes after you log out, no one can raid you until you or your group are online.

Full Wipe occurred 6-14 We have reduced the fame multiplier by 30% so fame is not easy to come by. Dial locks are for sale at the trader for 2k a piece and 10 fame. This reduces the ability of a crew to join the server and instantly become a threat to every base they find. If you want to get into a base, you're gonna have to use explosives. Typically won't have enough fame to rip through 3 or 4 dial locks. Best way to get fame is kill prisoners! Some fame requirements have been adjusted at the trader, but the lack of purchasing power keeps players on the move for loot and PvP encounters up.

Lock Protection is set high, if you're going to lock pick, you're going to need resources. Those resources are tons of insulated gloves :)

The BEST server I have ever played one!!! No BS . No EZ mode Bots. Just a great server that stays true to what the game was actually meant for: Survival !. If you want a Fortnite or Call of Duty experience, then go play those games. This game is not for the weak and weak minded. And this server highlights that principle very well!! I totally recommend it if you really want to test yourself.

This is the ultimate hardcore server where you constantly have to be on your toes, every action you take determines whether you live or get smoked by sentry mechs, puppets or other players. In my opinion this server does what no other server of SCUM does or even bothers to attempt, it breathes true unhindered life into the vision that the developers are striving towards. You work and struggle to survive as intended, there is no welcome kit, find two damn rocks on the ground and get to work surviving the puppet onslaught.

I have played the game since the time of its release and the game has constantly evolved to become more challenging and at the same time more rewarding, and the Boom Boom Room puts your actual skills to the test.

The quality of the server is breathtaking, here and only here will you have no issues with 60-70 people on the server on a the same time and STILL be able to experience no desync in vehicles. Ever wanted to do a drive-by with a weapon at 125kph or faster and actually hit what you aimed at, then look no further.

Having trouble on other servers with negligent or oblivious admins, wont find that here. Here they have a dedicated team who actively track down the bad actors and make sure their actions have lasting consequences. The rules are simple, extremely fair, and admins actively help players stuck in rocks or glitched out, or other situations. Here is a community you can rely on, one you can depend on, one you might say has some semblance of family.

I play a lot of SCUM (2k hours). I play the BBR almost exclusively for no other reason than because it's the most challenging. The server owner is solely focused on bringing out the best of this game which means the settings are designed to be challenging and the rules are to insure a fun time is had. For example, vehicles despawning if not used in a very short period means they will be available even for casual players as they are never hoarded and left behind locked bases. The server owner works closely with the developer which means development updates are communicated and shared merely with playing on this server. I've played others, but return to this one. With little gaming time I have, I dedicate it to Scum and my Scum time is spent in the Boom Boom Room.

I played here for 3.5 years. I watched lock pick cheaters ruin the server for 6 weeks before getting banned.. (it took over 15 reports to get a result). I have personally witnessed admins using drone mode and screen sharing over discord so everyone can see an aerial view of the base w/ player direction and location viewable. They use this for their team and for their "friends" teams. I have also experienced being a guinea pig for settings, having them changed spontaneously based on how the admins feel that particular evening. (there are clips of this live on the admins stream). We watched the server go +3 months with the traders' fame/pricing unbalanced and unadjusted. If you say ANYTHING critical to the admins, the Red Queen says "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!" Play here at your own risk.

Fun place to play, lots of puppets be prepared. Community is solid, people are pleasant and chat is civil. I highly recommend playing in the Boom Boom Room. I've played in other servers that claim to be dedicated servers, this is a true dedicated server. The setup is survival, it's super fun. Most gun fights are small arms, since loot isn't maxed out. Max loot servers just mean everyone is carrying the best weapons and nothing else in the loot table is being used. Play here if you wanna enjoy SCUM the way it was meant to be played.

Played here for 2 years... Simply because same minded people play there... Get rid of scriptkiddies pretty fast, vanilla loot so every death has meaning and not just loot a microwave for a freaking m82 with full mags and whatnot...

C4 Meta instead of lockpicking Meta, so your stuff are kinda safer from those who just joins server to lockpick and leave... with increased sapper damage your stuff will be safe long enough...

The amount of puppets makes it more interesting on the server as well, if people don't sneak around in town and aggro puppets its easier to find them for PvP.

The transparency we have is awesome! I love that we have all admin commands logged in Discord, especially since all the rumor's of admin abuse which we crushed easily by showing logs before but now it does it automatically in discord.

Curious why mech damage was lowered to .3 ? I thought a hard core survival experience would also mean having to be very careful around mechs, not make them easy to shrug off?

Mech's are no harder to dodge with higher damage than they are with lower damage. Rather than being one tapped, you get shot in the legs and arms sustaining multiple c3 and c4 injuries. If you have the proper medical items to treat yourself, you're ok, if not, you'll probably die.

Since you have to buy all of your vehicles there are no limits. Only bicycles, planes, and wheelbarrows spawn. One plane per squad, 20 planes total can spawn in.
