The risk /reward early on is big. so its a gamble. but each plays different. I finally found a car and been building it over the last week or so of my small free time I have to play. its been nice, kinda like a side quest to find everything I need. Likely someone will steal it before finished tho, thats my only gripe, is that devs have made the cars glow in the dark, so you cant even hide them well anymore.
For pvp, there are battle royal servers, servers with starter packs and low fp respawns etc. some botshops you can buy everything including cars and its spawned right next to you etc.
But officials, which I play, seem to be geared towards survival with the CHANCE of pvp encounters secondary, which I like.
pvp was THE ONLY thing to do sure we had some survival stuff but it was minimal compared to what is in the game now
the game has come leaps and bounds it just need to refine its scope and get to work on the bugs and QOL
"pvp dead af" yea it should die out for the most part.
it should always be a threat but it shouldnt be the thing you feel you HAVE to do
thats what the " survival " part is for, the one constant you NEED to do
if you want to fight people thaaaaat bad i suggest call of duty you will find the fights you crave
It will be changed in the future as well, I'm just not sure I would agree that PVP is dead. It very much depends on the server you are playing on, for example EU # 1 is a massacre.
Not sure it's as easy as you make it now with 2 abandoned bunkers active for 24 hours, it seems that you want way more PVP than we can achieve on official servers. Luckily there are a lot of private servers that could have set their server up to your preferences. We only go as far as a few hardcore servers that we have.
No one survived
the front
just to name a few more pvp based, base builder games.
dead poly
7 days to die
they keep popping into mind so ill stop here
dont get me wrong here scum is on the better end of all those games imo. they all bring something to the table. i love survival games like this, why i keep coming back to scum.
if you want to hate yourself.
last oasis
on that note and made by the same
ark dont do it
whats that 1 mostly unfinished?
deadside
nothing comes close, imo survival means you must defend or murder sometimes. its never fast which conflicts with the pvp gamers. its why the top pvp servers are botshop x10 everything with ability to tp.
@OP It's kinda supposed to be hard to get FP dude, It's a slow paced survival PVE with PVP game not a run and gun shooter. FFs I'm also a 0.5er and PVP was never that huge on any servers I played on... Unless you count FatesDeath blowing a dude up at a gas station with a mine pvp. I've played on servers with most if not all of the forum regs. The traders are a lie, Makes you think it's a fast paced game, Grab loot sell, buy gun, go die. It's not like that. My advice, Not that you'll care or take it. Buy a fishing pole and go fish. Relax, take it slow and enjoy the game for what it is and not try to make it something it's not.
