Server setting Character skills
Is the function to set your character skills on max in singleplayer still buggy or what do you have to do to make it work?
Thanks for any help.

WELP i answer myself, i just saw now that it is only a multiplicator, not the skills themselves. So case closed. But if anyone knows a way to set skills to max in SP, it would be awesome

Hello :),

Indeed, the multipliers increase the gain rate of the corresponding skill points by up to 10x.

However, a command or other function to set the skills to maximum is not available. Skills can be acquired through learning by doing.

Int is supposed to effect skill increase now. You could start with a 5 int toon by lowering other stats.

Or you could cheat in a way by spawning the int increase ampules that are found in the ab bunkers and use those to max int to 5.

There are others that boost int temporary as high as 8 for quicker skill gain also.

Just mentioning them. I prefer legit play!

As Deathwhisper indicated there is no way to set your skill levels in single player (or multiplayer).

Do you really want to challenge yourself? Well, go for the brass ring.

Levelling all of your skills to “Above Advanced” is a time consuming, repetitive, expensive, frequently resource intensive process that becomes somewhat less dreadful and less likely to result in permanent brain damage if you have support from your squad (or others on the server).

It won't take you a few hours, a few days, a few weeks, or a few months. Plan on committing lots more time than this, even if you play 10-12 hours a day. I can say with certainty that it can be done, but it's remarkably challenging. As it should be.

You have to be a little crazy to try it. I believe the benefits are worth it though.

On a related subject, if anyone knows a better way to level cooking other than pan frying steaks (with salt & pepper) on 8 portable gas stoves simultaneously please let me know. Please. Pretty please?

Cooking is my final skill to level and my brain will be "Perfectly Cooked" soon if I can't figure a way to speed this one up. I'm at Advanced plus 15% right now and would like to see that progress bar... ...move.

You can do a lot with the aforementioned int ampules and skill multiplier x10.....
Brawling done in half a day, 7 500 000 xp.

Hi Jolie,

That's true in single player.

It's a lot more challenging on a multiplayer PVE server where the Admin guidelines prohibit spawning in items for personal use (including puppets). The server owner is passionate about the PVE experience and insists that the Admin Team plays under the same circumstances as any player will be experiencing on the server in the future.

That's how a server is properly play tested, and although Admins are authorised at times to use specific commands during our play testing (such as teleport commands, certain view commands when verifying spawning conditions, etc., more commands are authorised while flying a drone), using commands to level skills more easily is definitely off the table. The whole point of having the Admin team play test for 4+ months (so far) would be lost if open use of admin commands was allowed. I'll be banned / removed from the whitelist if I take that route.
