I've found what looks lie a fax/copy machine, but I can't interact with it. How do you erase the data?

I am having the same issue, i am in front of it at the junkyard with the (I) mark but no way to interact.

Problem solved, i logged out and back in right in front of it and it turned blue and i was able to interact with it right away.

Is it on the second floor of the office building in junkyard? If so, I'm not getting any prompts at all. I tried logging out and back in and still nothing...
