How do you take a draw from a cigarette?

I know how to take it in my hands and light it, but what if I wanna take a draw?

Hey :),

If you want to actually smoke the cigarette you only need to "Equip" it. Light the cigarette and keep your hands free. Your Character will perform it automatically.

Theres a psychological connection to going out and getting that cig in yer mouth, even better if theres a social habit going with it, not only the nicotine. So this might actually lower someones urges thus it is true for real.

The smoking feature implementation is a bit underwhelming, though. I had hoped the devs would treat a cigarette the same way as a weapon or a drinking bottle; namely as something you take in your hand and DO something with. Just as you left click your mouse button in order to pull the trigger of a handgun, I had hoped the cigarette would work by left clicking your character for taking a draw and right clicking for throwing away the cigarette butt. I also hoped we would actually get to see the burning cigarette on the lower side of our screens in first person view and every time you left click to take a draw you would see the cigarette tip light up. That would have been awesome.

Or it might make them really miss the real thing and want to do it IRL even more. Minds don't all work the same.
