How The HELL do we get Fame?

It seems that the ONLY way to get fame now is to spend time IN GAME. Looting Items/Selling Items does NOTHING. Yet, getting killed by a Puppet or Mech takes fame away. Yet, we need 400 fame to buy a tire from the mechanic? Is this intended?

You still get fame from olives (dlb click them directly into your inventory - do not drop to vicinity), but just 1 instead of 5 pts.

I should have probably phrased it like "we should be able to get 3FP from fist fighting puppets"

I have found zero ways to get fame other than loot.. Will try the olive thing and check back.

Olives in fact give 1 fame per olive... Any other stuff we can farm and pick to get fame?

Ima sitting on 80-ish fame points after the weekend and maybe two hours today playing the game "normally" without hunting olives or other crap to farm fp.
Just killing puppets, looting, building, selling.
Almost 20k in the bank.
I'm not even allowed to buy 9mm ammo.

Put on bulletproof vest and go swim with a shark. 8 fame every time you escape. I got over 400 in a hour. repair vest with improvised tool chest and repeat.

I think the trader is as intended now... An earned perk as your progress. Everything can be found for free. Just have to search. And you can fit two tires in your hiking bag, a 3rd in your hand. I gained 1.5 strength doing this multiple times. Multiple times because people kept jacking my ride. Sons of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

didnt work for me

kill puppets with different weapons, melee for a while then switch to bow. search every olive bush and tree trunk to get 1 fp per olive/insect.

Cant say about hunting/cooking/fishing as have not done those in .85 yet
