Cooking book use?

Hello :),

the cooking books will expand your cooking. You only need to have them in your inventory to unlock more receipes when working at a stove or camp fire with grill. :)

After more than one use, will you remember the recipes, or do you need it in your inventory at all times when cooking?

I only got 5 star meals when I used all the opional ingrediants as well.
Like grillign a piece of meat only gave me a 2 star,adding salt and peper (both time taked off the grill at the same time, with added optional ingrediants it turned into a 5 star.

I couldn't find info on if you would remember a recipe, or always need the cookbook.

I have 8 cook books but only 5 of them show recipes... Are some books "broken" or do I need something else than a pot and a pan? I can't make bread or cakes for example.

I cooked a meal, it came out "poorly cooked". This is not a result I'm unfamiliar with. I applaud the realism of this feature.

Cakes was working ok for me - can you get it from the dropdown menu up top-right of the cooking ui? (Cake recipes do look like they need an oven though, trip to a prefab with a genny I guess.)
