Even worse if you have hearing problems like myself.
I couldn't hunt down a single animal as of yet, it's just hard for me to make out the right direction.
And unfortunately its already game over if you happen to stumble in the wrong direction for two minutes.
You're wrong about the predators tho.
They still spawn occasionally and are as dangerous as before.
Been mauled by wolfs yesterday wich just came running out of the bushes.
Heard them howls and thought the same, '... whatever, there's nothing to fear anymore'
WRONG! ;b

I sometimes have issues pin pointing audio too but something I’ll do that might help is quickly pan left and right when I hear a noise. Kind of helps my brain “triangulate” better.
Regarding loot, I’m having a very different experience than a lot of people describe on here. It makes me wish I could watch how people are playing.
Houses and inevitably puppets, which drop a lot of needles. I have like 20 needles and found two thread.
