There is a reason for the base building limit. First and foremost, imagine a lot of bases with a huge number of bb elements and how it impacts server performance. With the old bb system, we saw impossible bases with hundreds of barbed wires and cabinets that just killed server performance and made the squad untouchable.
I understand what you're saying about PVE but still I feel 400 elements is enough to make a great base, some compromise is needed to keep server performance acceptable.
We also built cool bases and did not feel any problems with the server. The game worked perfectly.
And no matter what you think, you can't build a standard lamp house on 400 elements.
It is very easy to build a rectangular box that we have been building on the old system for a very long time.
But why would I build something simple when the new system allows me to build cool things? But they are impossible because of the limitation.
I want to build a beautiful house, with a garage, with a pier, with benches and torches to illuminate the territory. To have fences and stuff.
This all turns out to be at least 400 elements. Because a lot of small elements are used in construction.
I need at least 20 cupboards in my house. And this is already 20 elements under the flag, 10 more torches on the territory, and this is already 30.
The limits need to be revised precisely.
Hence, the restriction of elements looks silly.
As I wrote, the limits on the PvE server need to be expanded or removed altogether.
How did you get a total of a 400 element limit?
We only have an 200 element limit on our flag.
oohhhh. cool good to know.
Yes you can but those elements will not be in the flag repair area and so each piece will need it's own repair quite time consuming!
I guess the bigger reason would be why would you do that!
I'm talking about the fact that the limit on elements destroys itself, because it was made so that players would not build too large bases and to make "optimization" on the server.
And at the same time, this limitation can be easily circumvented. And this limit doesn't make sense.
