Just as marktkm said, can you explain a bit more what you are missing and what you think was removed ? Sadly your contribution does not reveal much. :)
Near as I can tell, presently Scum's a "no items found", running/looting simulator with clunky mechanics and a need for effort/payoff balance. That's just my first impression after a few hours and I have a bit to learn. I'm not ready to write a review and wouldn't till full release anyway.
That's expected in EA, but it seems behind in development. I thought it would be more polished after five years. It sure seemed like it in videos I watched, but playing it is a different matter. Might have been old videos with content or features OP is alluding to...I don't know. Even so, it's still kinda fun to tinker with.
We rolled the dice on this developer...we'll see what they do with it I guess.
please math before making these claims
You need to be willing to put in a lot of hours. It supposed to be a real grind in your first few (in game) days. watch some tutorials that are dated recently and talk about version 0.85 if your interested in the game.
The other option if you don't like the initial challenge of fighting with sticks and stones and constantly starving, is to join one of the servers that has loot x 10 setting and gives you a welcome package via discord bot. Most servers once you join them, will give you a discord invite in the chat or message of the day.
That way you can get a feel for the game. If its a populated server tho, you may end up being killed quite quickly. The Events tab is where you can practice TDM etc if some players join an event you start.
Please read before make these responses.
I bought this game because of the series of videos demonstrating some innovative features for skills and attributes. I really liked the Endurance and running mechanics, they seem to have vanished as now there is no body mass mechanics. The stealth and camouflage mechanics really got my interested, no longer a thing as far as I can tell. Then there is the inability to see things in third person view that your character was unable to see, seems we can look right at a wall and see enemies with no issue. Maybe I am wrong but those were some things that enticed me make the purchase and now I don't see any of it.
However, Stealth and camo both function normally and 3rd person peaking has been in the game since day one as it relates to players.
No, they can't. You don't get FTP access to the files when renting a server.
Several means 'many or more than one', it has in no way any relation to the number 7 unless stated. 'Several people stood in the street', does not mean they were seven people.
Absofruitly!
This is f.e.
