But the devs are simply not willing to listen to suggestions on changes the game really needs going forward.
Perhaps they don't agree with the suggestions, or they have something else in mind down the line. There's a lot of things I don't like, like the base building, the nerfs to fortifications, the amount of build&raid gameplay, the recent changes to the explosives, but I'm just one person. The devs are trying to steer the middle lane toward 'their' game, and they're the only ones that get the full scope of everyone's feedback. What 'the game really needs' is a variable that changes with every player, and in the end it's the devs project.
I'm at 7900 hours and still having a great time, even with the things I don't like.
I have 12,0000 hrs. The game is better than ever in my eyes. The recent updates have renewed my interest in the game. Are there things I don’t like, sure. Like the poster said above base build balancing needs work. I don’t even bother with it right now and I love base building, but I think that will work itself out in the future. Im more confident than ever that the dev team will realize their vision and make the best survival game on the market.
It seems like a lot of the critics aren’t actually interested in survival. Especially when you see people complaints about things like the availability of vehicles etc.
I know it sometimes may not seem that way, but be assured that we are trying to read all of your feedback and suggestions (there is so many of you wonderful guys and not a lot of us haha). A lot of the things players suggest does get implemented in the game, we do write down and keep track of player wants and suggestions (the excel spreadsheet is getting quite big!) and look to put something that you guys want in every patch.
