Armor Tactical Vest?

Does anybody know if this vest is actually worth getting over the basic ballistic vest? I've never had it long enough to tell if it's better. It visually covers more area on your body so i'd assume it acts as wider protection but does it stop bullets at the same effectiveness as the ballistic vest, or better? Any help is appreciated.

On a side note does anyone know if helmets differ in protection?

i hope this helps, from my experience the tactical is better vs puppets than the other vests. not sure about helmets though, maybe a dev could answer the helmet question

I think RayKit did a couple videos on this. It might be worth checking out.

Are any of the 'bullet proof vests' and their ilk in SCUM supposed to be actual plate carriers? Or are they some other form of armor?

They look like the old IBA's we had in the Army so yeah. The tactical one has the DAP's and neck guard that we had as well. Technically the answer is yes, although the modern plate carrier is minimal compared

Basically best to worst goes like this:
Armor tactical
Bulletproof
Improvised vest
Other stabproof vests

Helmets:
Combat helmet = k63 helmet
ww2 helmet

While that's a little helpful, it leaves out a lot, maybe on purpose. For example, what makes the armor tactical the best? Cause it covers more area, has more health, or both? So the k63 helmets face guard doesn't actually block anything, say a 22 round or protect the ear area, its identical in protection to other smaller combat helmets? Do all helmets offer the same area coverage of the head so they're only aesthetic in difference?
