There are security experts that manage websites and hackers still manage to get in.
In an online world hackers will always be about and there is nothing out there that can fully stop them unfortunately.
I too wish there was a way to fully stop it. But there isn't currently. And I don't think there ever will be.
Theres not many cheaters as people think, i killed some ppl with hacks just by smart play and camping, you just need to know game and have patience.
I know the game and how to play it. 1100hrs. 1- way more than you think. 2- yes they are if you don't over use the hack and use it in a smart manner you can go indefinitely with out getting detected. 3- yes on this you are correct but when someone jumps through a wall or shoots you through a concrete wall...they are hacking.
If you killed hackers by camping them they are not hackers...ESP hackers can see people from across the map.
Hacking is a much bigger issue than you think. If it wasn't, they would NOT be charging $50 for 1 WEEK! Its a good business because people buy the product.
need bigger internet securitys and some kind of bigbrother system for steam users.
If hack a game, your steam acc should be perma banned
I have 7 times that, and I only play on official servers, and I can attest that since 0.7 came around, I havent encountered a single cheater. Good players yes. But cheaters no. Also, in my entire "career" of playing SCUM, 7 times the amount that you have played, I would say I've encountered about 20 cheaters that I could definitely confirm are cheating. There might of course be more, but those are the ones I can confirm.
In other games, I have met A LOT more.
Way less than you elude to here.
Sure, but that doesnt mean the person who killed you were cheating.
First one yes, second one not necessarily. Could get lucky.
This is more relevant for other, more popular games.
For reference, while I've met about 20 odd cheaters in my entire career, I have probably been accused of cheating more than 50 times, for various reasons. Yet, I have never cheated in any game in my entire life, not even monopoly. I'm not a braindead loser.
But that SHOULD tell you something. Hackusations happen every day, and most of them are just bad or new players being salty little children.
Some computers have an advantage in playing scum-we have tested this on our server between admins and sent this video evidence in a DM to a dev to be worked on.
Prior to the admins having the capability to turn off player to player lock picking we had over 40 bans on our server for people lock picking bases or rides when the owners or admins were not online to catch them 40 out of the 200 some that have tried out our server that's 20% of the player base that does not go or play by the rules..
Some people just are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they hack or cheat or are toxic but the devs are trying to stop the cheating and the exploits! Sometimes it is a game of whack a mole!!!
EDIT: Just imagine if steam accounts could only be made when you give up your national identification number backed up by your trusted national id service.
Develop an AI that can actually update cyber security and learn about new hacking techniques.
There, problem solved.
