You can turn select if you want to see naked people running around (essentially you will see a pixelated mask instead). I have no idea where you are watching videos with naked SCUM players; this would certainly result in the video being removed from YouTube for example.
SCUM is far more than running around the map naked. It is, at its heart, a survival game with elements of PVE and PVP woven into the mix. My suggestion would be to run it in single player and check it out there, or perhaps to spend a little time on a server that suits your play style. I think you will find that it has much more to offer than just running around the map!

Got it, my problem with that is not even the nudity, its about balance.
If people keep playing "naked" this means they dont have nailed yet the reasons people do pvp naked.
I got that in a game with firearms its really hard to balance the advantages vs the disvantages of armors but this is the first survival game people choose to play unarmored.
This bring 2 points:
1 - Armors are really bad and have way more cons than pros.
Or
2 - Or the respawn system is really easily cheesed ina point that use armors are just a waste, better keep respawning has a glass cannon.
We have a few survival games with firearms, and i dont remember a single one where people do pvp naked by choosing doing it. (Even rust the full arcade survival game, people do pvp using kits).
Too easy to send in an unkitted alt w/o the risk of loosing gear.
Amen. Trying to explain this problem for weeks/months/years. Take trejo, make bed near base and grief sh1t out of it. Its not how this game should work.
A bed can only be made on the flag. Cooldown is 24 hours..
Death should not reset everything. Each death should cost you something, so that you really don't want to die.
Each death already costs, many want to have it that no cost happens at all, eg re-acquire your stuff from an outpost etc
Some say survival in this format is dead, except for the battle royale servers
People want quick play, not a long time misery, which also translates into survival
