Can we expect another update before 1.0?
Can we expect another update adding content, before the 1.0 release? Will there be a phase in-between content release, and 1.0's release in which the focus fully switches to bug fixing, and graphic improvements, and optimizations?

Or do they expect to drop 1.0 with the remainder of content promised/teased, and then try to fix the game after the "1.0" drop?

I'm still waiting on viable Singleplayer experience(not story, but something that makes it more enjoyable, and not a wasteland with nothing happening), zombies that don't spawn behind you, hairgrowth, and the return of the rest of the vehicles that were removed.

Hello :),

As far as i know there will be additional Patches, at least one, that continue to enrich the game on the path to the 1.0 Version as there is anyway still content not yet implemented. However, exact numbers or details are not aviable, the next patch will also disable the Christmas Event. The best source of informations can be found in the Development Updates in the Announcements section here in the forums.

We won't go into any specifics on the roll out of fixes and the remainder of content, but what we can confirm that we will be investing a lot of effort to curb the issues that are present in the game and to introduce a host of optimizations which will result in a smoother experience, all of it by the time we hit 1.0.

It would be optional, ideally.
There has been other discussions, about how to alleviate the degree of work required to re-implement hair-growth for dev team.
The going idea was to give the option to the player to either pick a "Master Hair Style" that included hair-growth, or for the player to just pick a hair that's permanent, the way you currently do in-game.

If the player decided to pick the "Master Style for Hairgrowth" option, then at certain lengths, you can style the hair to a certain style, after about 10-20% growth, the style could no longer apply, and it would fall back to the master style. This would drastically reduce development time, and effectively give back the Hair Growth option to players that wanted it, and had been looking forward to it since it was "feature" listed in the early days. Whilst allowing players that didn't want to have to deal with hair-growth, to be able to still pick a style permanently if they so choose.

We were just talking about how much we missed the hair growth feature on our server. The above suggestion is fairly close to what we were thinking. i.e. Go to the barber and pick a hairstyle, your hair grows from there and eventually you end up looking like survival jesus unless you go back to the barber for a 'reset'. Or you can use a knife and cut it as before. The barber in this case would turn out to be a place you'd want to go every few days if you want to keep stylish. This would seem a good thing as a) haircuts cost money so there is another thing to spend your hard earned credits on and b) it means the barber gets at least some return business, since (for example) as it is now I went in there once a year and a half ago and haven't been back.

No issues with an option to have a perma-hairstyle if you want, the barber can use super advanced hair technology to lock it into a style. Should be really expensive though :)

So YES please hair growth back!!

p.s. Getting burns over c1 to the head area should render you bald until you get back to the barber (or let it grow in).

I don't get why people complained about the hair growth feature when you also had this...
