Official controller support.

Will official controller support be added to Scum? Also, when will the game leave early access?

Personally I think the game shouldn't leave EA for another year. There are still too many fixes that need to be added.

People are gonna have a blast managing their inventory with a controller, and picking / dragging items around while building bases. lol.

I look at where the game is now as a alpha stage because game code is still being written.

I look at the release of 1.0 as a beta stage. Where what has been created will now be refined or optimized!

I kind of dont follow that reasoning... This is nowhere near alpha anymore, and I bet people would not like to buy a full priced game out of EA (lets say atleast 50-60 euros / bucks) to have it as a beta...

By definition a game's in alpha state as long as it's not feature/content complete.
Beta phase means all features/content is in a game and polishing/optimization/bug fixing starts.
By that definition scum's still in alpha.
Of course nowadays, as literally any AAA title releases for full price in a broken beta state, this doesn't mean anything anymore.
And the sad thing about it is that people just swallow it.
