SCUM
abandoned bunker bs
i was just in an abandoned bunker in b2. I had a valid keycard with me. I opened up the main doors with the keycard. Went into the bunker, slowly taking my time in attempt not to agro the razors, etc. Working my way down looting, etc down to the lower levels where brenner hangs out. I just get to the lower fuse box and warning comes up saying bunker will be under lock down in 5 min. i just kept doing my thing. finally get into the lower depository to try and find a bcu upgrate module, and the bunker lockdown is counting down. When it reaches 0, im liked knocked out, respawn on the surface, butt naked. all my gear is gone and doors are locked. I have since read the bunkers have a 3 hour time limit. Is this in game time or real time? If its ingame time, it may be borderline but if its a 3 hour real time limit, there is no way. I was 45mins max real time being inside the bunker. Can anyone share some info if they have any to give?

It is 3 hours normal, however if the bunker was one of the "open" bunkers it is only open for 24 hours and you might have caught the end of that timer. Your keycard would not reset that timer as it is a global timer for that bunker. Never ignore that warning... never...lol

Totally hear you. What I always do is leave the card out of my inventory and check the door. If its active I dont need the card and save for later. If its not active for x hours then I can safely use the card

This marks the answer.

To check: put the card away, approach the door, hold down the [Interact] button, the same you use for opening, and look at the bottom option that is greyed out that will tell the time remaining.

It will give you a time in hours, minutes, seconds.
thankyou all for the replies!
