All three battery charger sizes support charging of smartphone batteries.
The main differences are in the amount that the Pro battery can be charged. So the bigger the charger, the more it can charge.

In order to be able to operate the chargers, generators must be nearby and both devices must be switched on. (Look at the generator and battery charger, they must be in the world and close to each other. Hold "F" and turn on the generator first, then the charger.)

Then place the smartphone batteries or a car battery (depending on the charger size) in the charger's inventory to charge the batteries. You can see how much electricity the chargers are using when you look at the generator's consumption. The small generator easily supports the small and medium-sized charger with 250w, I don't have the large one at hand at the moment, but it should also be possible to operate it with the small generator.

Make sure the generator has enough fuel. Without gasoline, it will not be able to generate any energy.
