Repairing damages Car Parts

Is there a way to repair damaged car parts, like the hood of my WW? I tried car repair kit and tool kit, doesn't work. Can repair the chassis of course, but that doesn'T repair my hood, and it looks really ugly this way...

Use a Jack.

I mean the actual Wolfswage Hood, Door, Trunk, Wheel, whatever. These Car parts are far below 100%. I understand they dont need to be at 100%, but it looks ugly and I want it in a nice red colour... Can it be repaired? If not, I know who sells me a new one, just want to know wether this is necessary.

use a jack and then you get the option to repair everything except for the motor that has to be fixed by the trader.

As others have pointed out, you need a jack to do this. Use it to put the vehicle into service mode by aiming at the vehicle while holding the jack and pressing "F".
If the vehicle is in service mode, you can see which parts are damaged. This is displayed in different color levels. You can also disassemble the parts to see the exact condition on the inventory screen.

To repair you need a vehicle repair set. Depending on the severity of the damage, this can use up more or less charges.

Yep, for individual car parts make sure your car is either lifted on a car jack or at the mechanic trader and you will have an option to repair them.

Yep, works perfect. And since Car repair kits spawn everywhere, my car is in top shape now. Wish they would make electrician tools spawn anywhere at all...
