start collecting pretty much everything
see what sell for the most for the least weight

a good bet always is the named items
ie "blaze bat"
and the masks do wonders one of em is like 500-700$

not to mention if you play your cards right you can trade other players for stuff and or money

i do the same thing i have a backpack dedicated to repair tools just for that purpose and use my car as my mobile base mostly

Military grade weapons (especially rifles like VHS, AWM/AWP and M82, if you can find one) and Ghillie gear sell for a lot of cash. Even the low quality rifles in WW2 bunkers cash in for a few 100s. Also military quivers, NVGs and weapon cleaning kits in good condition sell very well.
Basically, like fatesdeath already mentioned, collect everything you can find (especially military stuff).

Hey there OP, the best way to earn money is definitely by selling military-grade weapons and attachments. In addition to that, selling repair kits for vehicles will also bring you a good amount of money.
