Let us quietly watch the SCUM staff at work.
Many times I was so disappointed, stressed out, frustrated, even angry, I thought that's it! I'm done! Once and for all!
Some decisions and changes I fail to understand and hate them to this day.
Yet here I am, sinking hours into the game, having fun with my buddies, despite all bugs and missing stuff and features.
Agree, sometimes it's hard to keep the faith.
It's like a long lasting relationship you try to hold on to at all costs. You love it today, hate it tomorrow but you always return.
Still got high hopes for this game and want to see it succeed.
This raw diamond needs some serious grinding and polishing until it sparkles tho.
Only time will tell if it's capable to do so in the future.
Bug aside, this post show that you miss knowledge and experience of the game.
Scum is not without faults. I agree that some features need work and there's one or two I wouldn't mind seeing overhauled or removed. The top of my list is the melee weapons passing through the puppets, the overall clunky feel of melee, and that...hunting...thing.
That said, consider that the game is, after all, still in early access. It's definitely not complete or polished. I can't speak to the devs work schedule, but five years seems excessive to me and, sure, I'd like to see quicker progress, but it'll go full release and be polished when it happens. I have to assume we all knew what we were buying into with an early access game.
Getting infuriated won't help anything. Giving non hostile feedback and reporting bugs regularly will. Buying an early access game is an investment in the possibility of years of entertainment. As in any investment, patience is key. If you're really getting that frustrated, take a step back and play something else for a little while. Maybe come back after the next update.
I'm looking forward to seeing Scum's future and hope the devs knock it out of the park. If they don't, well...I've spent money on dumber s't...lol. I'd like to think they're doing their best and I'm sure they know if their best isn't very good, it will affect their future as devs. I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt and hopefully they'll shine.
lets think about this logically, 2 socks means their are already 2 items, you cannot cut 2 socks up and it turn into 1 item
Been thinking about trying one if the ping is low. Which server?
In fact, this a Supermax prison TV show in the future run by a corporation to provide entertainment for viewers.
Maybe the game would make more sense if you knew the lore.
And please use paragraphs. That wall of text is not easy on the eyes 👀
