Come one, what is the purpose of this game anyways ? You want to get rid of the need of food and drinking ? And why even use ammo at all ? And the use of clothes, gear... and well.
I play this game only because it has some slight gameplay that leans towards realism. I dont play this game as a PvP.
You do realize that DayZ, Arma and many other game is only famous because it aims for realism. Which by the way graphics are leaning towards as well.
Some like hollywood realism, some just want to have it a bit based. So in the end if you want to be a hollywood wannabe character fine with me. I guess there is a reason people cheats.
You probably are not the only one.
Water intake
Ok so not a forgotten feature but there seems to be a lot of confusion with this one. So let's get down to it:
There is water absorption system in the game, or better to say all of the minerals and nutrients. Your characters body has a limit on how much it can absorb over time, anything excess it will quickly expel. So be careful how much water you intake at once. So if you drink 2L of water at once but can only absorb 400ml anything over 400ml you will quickly have to piss out the excess. So it is better to to take a breather drink 0.5L and once that is absorbed drink some more and move. Or store the extra in the bottle. Also keep in mind that the higher your CON the less your body will use less water so the reserve will last longer.
This is very much in line with reality and isn't that big of a deal once you start thinking your actions through.
I should mention my server metabolism got turned down to 66% of the normal speed because a lot of other people had the same problem as you. it's a big adjustment for everyone.
i have done some extensive testing of the new .6 patch. and i must say once u figure it out, its quite simple. it is not a slandered pvp area type game most would expect, but more of a raw down to earth experience. as for all those fanboys and anti fanboy comments.. keep them. personally its about time someone took real life aspects and placed them in a game.
from a guy who has been in the woods for weeks at a time..
Keep it going dev's
