I been running around the map on solo player. where are the animals at. i have not found any or don't know where to look. please help that's one of the achievements im missing

Honestly just stop and camp somewhere. You have a better chance of them spawning if you are just sitting around from what I can tell.

horses. donkeys in south regions.
goats - south and north
boars - mid
bears, wolves - mid and north
deers - no one seen for ages
also crows, chicken, gulls - if you're lucky

just go on foot along rivers or forest edges and listen. Also if you run fast you're noisy, that matters

Hello :)

Animals are very widely spread across the island. Here you can find a lot of different tactics. Be it sneaking through the woods or lying in wait in the hunting turrets that can be found everywhere.

But the most important thing is that you are quiet. Move slowly, i.e. crouch. Here you can also use CTRL and the mouse wheel to squat down a bit without kneeling down completely, but you still move much more quietly here.

Animals are easily frightened, but they are also noisy. Use focus mode by holding down the right mouse button. Here you will be able to find animal tracks which can provide useful information such as the direction and species of the animal. The Awareness skill at higher levels also helps better block out environmental sounds while in focus mode, which greatly helps in finding both animals and puppets before they find you.

By peeking in a direction using the focus mode, we wait and look in that direction and will notice that the animals and puppets start making noise again and again, which helps a lot in many ways and can help to improve the hunting tactics significantly.

I’ve seen several boar spawn in eastern C3. Just jog around and listen for them to scare off. Then follow their tracks at a slower pace.

You can run into them pretty much across the whole map, it's just a matter of patience and if you will be able to spot them. You can run into them in a few towns as well.

i got deer spawning on our back during we try to camp at middle of airfield. Run way stuff with some green spot
I not sure if it is admin spawn them in tho cuz they with us too but we dont see them nearby with deer. they were no where to be seen during the time we trying to camp

There were wolf spawn on top of airfield near village in open field if u check the map
i already forget other spawn before these

In only had one run-in ever within my solo-game with an animal. A Bear atacked me out of nowhere and nearly mauled me to death. Since then i am glad i never see animals anywhere...

My favorite place to find animals = at the edges of the big open field just south from gun range, which is to the south of airport. If i wont find an animal by just going down there, then i just wait for a little and one will be heard in no time. Last time i saw a horse, a boar and a chicken all in one go. Very rarely there will be 3 animals though.

Oh, and if you hear an animal but cant find it, dont give up too easily, you will find it eventually

In the woods almost due west of the large utility sheds at the b1-b2 airfield there is a spawn spot frequently spawns bears boars or wolves also the woods along the b1b2 airfield north side. west of the cabin on the north side of the c3 lake there is a farm field boars are found there frequently...deer it's been a while but I always have seen them around wood edges with corn near! Horses I see a lot in c1 and the southern part of b3.

Simple and fast.
Sit in a bush and stand still.
In 5 mins, maybe less, a animal will come smelling you, as you prolly ♥♥♥♥/wet yourself.

Get up, kill him, make a fire. Enjoy.
