Ok that one makes no sense.
Grinding stones are to sharpen the edge of weapons. The brass knuckles have no sharp edge so a tool box would make more sense.

There is nothing on them that needs to be sharpened! The ones in Scum are not the bladed type!
You can even hit at an angle with them, so I can see why they'd be under melee weapons experience. Under most circumastances it'd hurt your hand, so you gotta do it a certain way. There's enough difference that you'd consider it a melee weapon over normal fist fighting. Plus you'd be unable to grab properly or use proper brawling with them.
I know it's a game and where you spam click with fists, it might not go as a real fight where grabbing and stuff might occur but brass knuckles would def disallow for most of that, thus further points for it being a melee weapon lol.
I don't see it as a big wow.

If you'd grind both sides, then the top sides of it, it'd even it out. It doesn't have to "sharpen" it. You also have the inside part that touches your hand, you can't use a hammer in there.
