Functional vehicles spawn questions
Hi All,

I am renting a server on nitrado with friends. We've played maybe 10-15h, 3 characters and we've never found a single functioning car. All settings were Vanilla.

We've found 2 functioning bikes, and probably around 10 cars that had no engines/tires/doors.

I changed the server seeting so that we have more vehicles, but also so that 100% of them spawn as functional.

We are still on the same "save", meaning we changed the settings on the fly.

We visited other cities, that we never had visited before, and its seem there are indeed more spawns (quads, dirt bikes and cars at least) but they are ALL not functional.

What are we doing wrong?

Riding a bike is funny 30min or so but ..

Hey there,
So first you have to align the amount of max vehicles with the amount of max functional vehicles that are being spawned, if you want every vehicle that's being spawned to be functional. Then you have to type in the command "DestroyAllVehicles please". Once you've done that, you can then restart the server for the changes to apply.

"Funtional" is a misnomer, the devs have it defined as "having an engine". They will not have a full compliment of wheels usually only 1 or 2 hence not drive-able. They will be missing batteries, alternators (generators), or the drivers seat (other seats too), panels (not so much of a problem) the least you need is 3 wheels (two at the front is best), a drivers seat and a battery, I would suggest an alternator is pretty important if you don't want the battery dead.
