Once all 8 charges are in it you can try the attempt yourself or go to the Doctor and pay him. If you have the money use the Doctor.

So if it's fully charged and the doc implemented it, is it gone or 0/8?
A fully charged 8/8 increases the INT by 0.5? So to increase my INT from 3 to 5 I'll need 4 fully charged modules?
That bcu charge thing is consumed in the process of using it so yes you will need at least 4 of those fully charged to get to 5 int
I have done that once Every new character I create starts with 5 int and advanced medical. Just my style!
I guess next module I'll loot is the one with 4charges or better, I'll leave the 8 or worse modules....maybe too much work.
